Coir Fiber is a versatile natural fiber extracted from the husk of the coconut. The coir fiber is the thickest and most resistant of all commercial natural fibers. The coir fiber is elastic enough to twist without breaking and it holds a curl as though permanently waved. Coir is used in brushes, doormats, mattresses and sacking.  They are not easily combustible, provide excellent insulation against temperature and highly resistant to fungi.
